How To Demolish A Shed – Step By Step
With the right equipment and experience, demolishing and cleaning up after a shed deconstruction project can be done in as little as 5-6 hours! Below are the steps for general shed/small garage removal:
- Obtain all necessary permits prior to beginning deconstruction
- Ensure all electric utilities are disconnected prior to beginning deconstruction
- Most sheds are supported by the roof structure. Begin by cutting the roof in half with a sawzall to weaken the shed structure
- Cut the roof of the shed into pieces, and begin loading into a dumpster
- Cut the 4 walls where they join, and they should all fall over with a little push. Load up the walls into the dumpster
- For the floor, cut it in half with a sawzall, then cut into pieces. Use a prybar to pull the floor pieces up, and load into the dumpster.
- Clean up the job site of small debris

April 4, 2019Hard working guys got the job done in one day. I recently bought a foreclose property and have A+ Enterprises help do the clean up. Its a 3 bedroom house full of junk, and everything was gone at the end of the day. Image a house hoarders live in, 3 bedrooms, each with bed, dressers, night stand, TV and many other trash, you do not want to be in the room more than 1 minute. Kitchen full of dirty dishes, appliances and dining table with chairs. At the end of the day, whatever not bolted down was gone, including most of the nasty carpet.
