Not only does it decrease the amount of waste discarded from construction projects but it also preserves many of the resources that go into creating new asphalt, concrete, and other materials. THE STEPS TO CONCRETE RECYCLING

Traditionally, old concrete was hauled from construction sites and dumped into landfills. Today, many construction companies opt for concrete recycling. First, we gather up the concrete and send it to a crushing machine. The concrete that is to be crushed has to be uncontaminated. This means that it can’t be mixed with wood, paper, or trash. Metals mixed in with concrete are okay, since a magnet can be used to remove the metals to be melted and repurposed elsewhere. After metals are removed from the clean concrete, each piece is sorted by size. The concrete is fed into the crushing machine, which crushes the concrete into small bits to be used elsewhere. Large chunks of concrete may need to be fed into the crushing machine twice. The fine concrete created by the crushing machine is further tested for cleanliness before it is sent to out to be used as an aggregate, as gravel, as riprap, or as landscaping features.

ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS

There are so many benefits to recycling concrete. First, concrete is kept out of landfills, which saves crucial space in landfills that are becoming increasingly overburdened. Reusing old concrete that has be reformed into gravel minimizes the need for gravel mining as well as reduces the pollution created by trucks that would be otherwise hauling fresh gravel from a gravel mine to a work site. Finally, recycling one ton of concrete saves about 1,360 gallons water! We’re glad that we can take part in a process that is so environmentally friendly!

Hard working guys got the job done in one day. I recently bought a foreclose property and have A+ Enterprises help do the clean up. Its a 3 bedroom house full of junk, and everything was gone at the end of the day. Image a house hoarders live in, 3 bedrooms, each with bed, dressers, night stand, TV and many other trash, you do not want to be in the room more than 1 minute. Kitchen full of dirty dishes, appliances and dining table with chairs. At the end of the day, whatever not bolted down was gone, including most of the nasty carpet. I will definitely use their service again. Great service and the hard working people.

This company is not just professionals at their work but also very kid and hardworking. During the scheduling the staff was very helpful and were able to work with my last minute call with no issues. Top notch. I called and spoke with a Guy named Sal. Very friendly and excellent Customer Service, 100%. I was set up in minutes. The pricing was great. Delivered it next day. When it was time for pick up I advised that I would be working and not able to hear the door so just knock hard. I went out on my Lunch break wondering what the heck? And the Dumpster was gone. Great service. Great Price. I called about 6 Dumpster Rental places and of all of them, A+ Was definitely the best and Props to Sal. Great Service. Truly is A+

Contacted Sal to have some old boxes removed, called me the next day to set up a time to estimate the work. Came first thing the next morning and gave me a great quote.
