The Junk Removal Minimum Charge
We get asked all the time, “Why do junk removal companies have a minimum charge?”. The answer may surprise you, but to sum things up, there is a lot of cost to bring a junk removal service to your home.
Our 2-man crew will drive a clean, new truck that gets approximately 7 MPG to your home or business within a 30 mile radius. These employees are fully insured and properly compensated to have them do their jobs to the best of their abilities.
From there, we will haul away a single item such as a refrigerator, stove, dresser, mattress, etc and load it into our truck. While the cost to dispose of that single item is relatively low, the cost to get to our customer’s location and back is very high.
Therefore, we have a minimum charge of $100 that covers our costs of doing a single item pickup. Other national brands have a minimum charge of $139 or more!
How are we able to be cheaper than our competition?
The reason our junk hauling service has lower prices than most of our competitors is simple – we are bigger! Similar to a large store negotiating lower prices for their goods which they pass the savings onto the customers.
For example, we are able to negotiate a lower price per-ton at the landfill because we haul a larger amount of volume versus other junk removal services. In addition, we use specialized trucks to efficiently haul your junk – saving time and money. Finally, we reduce, reuse, and recycle much of your junk so we are able to save you money!
On a typical house cleanout project, we will have our large packer garbage truck for all the garbage (maximum efficiency). Then, we will have one of our large dump trucks dedicated to hauling recyclable material & scrap metal. Finally, we will dedicate another truck for hauling donatable goods.

July 18, 2020Hard working guys got the job done in one day. I recently bought a foreclose property and have A+ Enterprises help do the clean up. Its a 3 bedroom house full of junk, and everything was gone at the end of the day. Image a house hoarders live in, 3 bedrooms, each with bed, dressers, night stand, TV and many other trash, you do not want to be in the room more than 1 minute. Kitchen full of dirty dishes, appliances and dining table with chairs. At the end of the day, whatever not bolted down was gone, including most of the nasty carpet. I will definitely use their service again. Great service and the hard working people.

They said the had a crew in my area the next morning and could be here at 9am. Arrived right at 9 on the dot and got straight to work. This is an excellent company to deal with. I highly recommend! They were punctual, friendly and communicative throughout the entire process. From the first call, to the estimate, to the contract details, to start day/time, to what to expect day of and clean up day. It is very hard to find this level of customer service anymore! We hired them to tear down an old cinderblock/wood garage. It was right on the property line and didn’t have much room for error. A+ took the garage down no problem and did a great job with haul away and cleanup. You can tell they know their stuff. Sal always returned calls and emails. We got a fair price and a job well done! I definitely recommend and would work with them again if the need ever arises.

When it was time for pick up I advised that I would be working and not able to hear the door so just knock hard. I went out on my Lunch break wondering what the heck? And the Dumpster was gone.
