Founded by Salvatore Polit-Moran, a lifelong resident of the Wyoming Valley and a proud graduate of the Wyoming Area Class of 2013, our company was built on a simple, “boots-on-the-ground” philosophy: Do the heavy work right, and do it for your neighbors.

Sal’s journey didn’t start in a boardroom; it started in the neighborhoods of Pittston, Scranton, and Wilkes-Barre. After graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2017, Sal returned home with a vision to build a service-based powerhouse that actually solved the logistical headaches local property owners and contractors face every day.

The Pivot to Precision Demolition

Originally known for professional cleanouts and hauling, we quickly realized that our clients needed more than just “junk removal.” They needed a specialized contractor capable of handling complex residential demolition, surgical commercial gut-outs, and heavy equipment transport.

We saw projects stalled by red tape and unreliable waste haulers. We saw homeowners overwhelmed by the process of clearing a lot. We decided to be the solution. We invested in a heavy-duty fleet, specialized training, and the high-level insurance required to handle the region’s most demanding site-clearing projects. As a licensed Wilkes-Barre City demolition contractor, we can perform all types of demolition work in both the City of Wilkes Barre and Scranton – a credential that many small demolition services do not have. 

The Prestige Advantage: A New Standard in NEPA

As we grew, we identified the single biggest bottleneck in the demolition industry: Debris. Most demolition companies are at the mercy of third-party dumpster schedules. If the dumpster doesn’t show up, the project stops.

To solve this, Sal founded our sister company, Prestige Disposal.

By owning the waste management assets, A+ Enterprises became the only demolition contractor in Northeast PA with a fully integrated supply chain. When we tear a structure down, we don’t wait for a container—we bring our own. This synergy allows us to work faster, keep job sites cleaner, and offer pricing that third-party reliant competitors simply cannot touch.
